Terms of Service
Last updated: 3 July 2026
The service
Calm Choices is a mealtime planning tool for families, made by Kind Lemur Ltd. These terms are a contract between you and us when you use the app or buy a subscription.
Your account
You must be 18 or over to create an account. Keep your login details safe; you are responsible for activity on your account. One account is for one household.
Premium subscription
- Price: £4.99 per month or £39 per year, including VAT.
- Free trial: 14 days from account creation. You will not be charged during the trial.
- Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- Cancelling: any time via Account → Manage subscription. You keep Premium until the end of the period you have paid for. No partial refunds for unused time, except where the law requires.
- Cooling-off: under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you may cancel within 14 days of first payment for a full refund, provided you have not substantially used the paid service; the free trial exists so you can evaluate everything before paying.
- Price changes: we will give at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change takes effect at your next renewal.
Your data
How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy. You own your data; you can export or delete it at any time from the Account screen.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break, reverse-engineer, resell or misuse the service, or use it in a way that harms others.
Our liability
We provide the app with reasonable skill and care. We are not liable for losses that are not foreseeable, or that arise from using the app contrary to these terms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes and ending the service
We may update the app and these terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email. If we ever discontinue the service, we will give at least 60 days' notice and you will be able to export your data throughout.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. Nothing affects your statutory consumer rights.
